Luton Town agree deal to sign Victor Moses

Luton Town have announced the signing of free agent Victor Moses on a permanent contract, which is subject to international clearance.

The former Chelsea winger has been playing in Russia for Spartak Moscow since 2021, but he is now set to return to English football to help Luton get back to the Premier League.

The 33-year-old has a vast experience playing in England following spells with Chelsea, Liverpool, Stoke, Crystal Palace and Wigan.

Moses has also spent time with other top European clubs such as Inter Milan and Fenerbahce in what has been a decorated career.

Even though Moses spent most of his time in the Premier League, he does boast experience in the Championship.

The Nigeria international has made 58 appearances in England’s second division where he scored 11 goals and provided six assists.

Luton Town will rely on Victor Moses’ experience

Moses has tons of experience to offer Luton from around the world, having made 477 appearances throughout his career.

The versatile midfielder has scored 61 career goals and provided 50 assists, proving himself as an attacking threat.

Rob Edwards revealed that the club have been talking to Moses for “quite a while,” and he did train with the club last weekend.

Moses has already played 60 minutes for his new team in a behind-closed-door game, and that helped influence the decision to sign him.

Luton have struggled since returning to the Championship, picking up just one point after four games which have left the club in the relegation zone.
