‘Maeda to miss out’ – Celtic predicted XI v St Mirren
Celtic will be in full celebration mode against St Mirren, and will lift the title in front of an adoring Celtic Park crowd.
The Bhoys will be desperate to put the icing on the cake of what has already been a brilliant season, by securing their 30th win of the campaign.
Brendan Rodgers named a much-changed side during the week, as Celtic dominated Aberdeen in a convincing 5-1 win.
However, it is likely that we will see many of the regulars returning for the title party, with the Scottish Cup final just over a week away.
Celtic manager Rodgers has been linked with Chelsea, and will hope that his side can continue their scintillating form, and take some momentum to Hampden Park.
In their final league game of the campaign, here’s how Football Insider predicts the Glasgow side will lineup against St Mirren.

Kasper Schmeichel back between the sticks after injury
Kasper Schmeichel
The Danish keeper has just returned from a shoulder injury, but Rodgers confirmed that the plan is to play him against St Mirren, as well as in the cup final.
Alistair Johnston
The full-back has been a regular in the Celtic starting lineup this season, but missed the derby against Rangers a few weeks ago with a hip issue. Johnston came on for the last 30 minutes against Aberdeen and will likely start at the weekend.
Liam Scales

Scales was one of the regulars who dropped to the bench during the Bhoys’ demolition of Aberdeen. Will expect to slot back into his usual centre-half role ahead of the cup final.
Auston Trusty
With Cameron Carter-Vickers out injured, Trusty has stepped into his defensive role. The former Sheffield United man has impressed in his last two outings.
Greg Taylor
Another who dropped to the bench as Rodgers rotated his team midweek. Taylor will be looking to add to his seven assists this season, against St Mirren.
Luke McCowan to keep his place after star performance
Callum McGregor

The ever-present midfielder has featured in 34 out of Celtic’s 37 games this season, popping up with eight goals in the process. Even with the reserves being put out against Aberdeen, McGregor kept his place.
Reo Hatate
Hatate is having his best scoring season for the Hoops, finding the net ten times already. The Japanese international has featured in every single game this campaign.
Luke McCowan
McCowan was on fire against Aberdeen, snatching his chance by picking up a goal and two assists. May have done enough to force himself into the starting XI for this game, and the cup final.
Daizen Maeda saved for cup final, with James Forrest desperate to make history
James Forrest

Forrest is on the brink of history, as he looks to score a Celtic goal for an incredible 15th season running. The veteran winger has come close on multiple occasions and will hope that he finds the back of the net against St Mirren.
Adam Idah
Johnny Kenny was the hero for Celtic against Aberdeen, as he scored his maiden goal for the club on his first-ever start. However, despite his brilliant finish, it would be no surprise to see Idah back in the starting XI, as Rodgers looks ahead to the cup final.
Nicolas Kuhn
Kuhn looks set for the left-wing berth, with Daizen Maeda carrying a slight knock. Rodgers said that it was nothing serious, despite the Japanese international missing the midweek game, but there is no need to risk him ahead of such an important game next week.
