Rodgers gamble fails: Three things learned about Celtic in draw v St Johnstone
TOO MANY CHANGES WERE MADE
Rodgers certainly gambled by making seven changes from the side which defeated Zenit, and for this game it didn’t pay off.
The Hoops were far too disjointed, and the players who came into the side, such as Calvin Miller and Cristian Gamboa, did nothing to advance their cause for a first team place.
Of course, if the Bhoys triumph in Russia then the Hoops boss will say that the changes were worth it, but for this game it didn’t work it all.
