Man City 115 charges: Keith Wyness reveals when ‘concrete’ update will come
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has insisted there is unlikely to be a “concrete” update on Man City and their 115 charges case until the new year.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – claimed he has not heard any “leaks” within his footballing circles.
The independent commission hearing into Man City’s 115 alleged breaches of Premier League financial rules began in September and is expected to wrap up this month.
It has been widely reported that a verdict will be in place before the start of the 2025-26 season, at the latest.
The Times reported on 5 November that Premier League clubs have been advised by lawyers to begin legal proceedings now and reserve the right to seek compensation in case of a guilty verdict.
Man City have always protested their innocence and claim they have “irrefutable evidence” to that end.
Man City 115 charges update to come in January, says Wyness
Wyness told Football Insider‘s Insider Track podcast: “We’re all watching every week, every day at the moment.
“There have been no leaks, I’ve certainly heard nothing in the football circles.
“I think it’s going to be into the new year before we hear something concrete on this case.

“We’ll have to buckle down and get through Christmas.
“Then we can expect to brighten up our January with some exciting news on an outcome.”
