Man City fans can’t believe Fabrizio Romano’s transfer update – ‘Wow, amazing’

Man City supporters have urged the club to get a deal for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush over the line in the January transfer window following a new report.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed the Premier League giants are expected to complete a deal for the 25-year-old this week as they will submit their official bid for the forward.

Add-ons are expected to be part of the structure and formal talks are to follow as City look to bring in some competition for Erling Haaland.

The Egypt international has scored 19 goals and provided 12 assists for the German side this season in all competitions, proving the threat he carries in an attacking sense.

The defending Premier League champions will have to prize Marmoush away from Frankfurt though due to him being under contract until 2027.

Football Insider previously revealed that City strengthened their negotiating position by agreeing a deal with the player first, which has helped accelerate the situation.

Man City fans want Omar Marmoush at the Etihad immediately

Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that Frankfurt are looking for a fee in the region of £67million, while City want to pay around £50million.

However, City fans don’t care either way and have urged the club to get a deal done as they claim that “Pep’s rebuild is underway.”
