Man City fans destroy ‘horrible’ Phil Foden after what he did v Man United
Man City fans have been left raging at Phil Foden after his performance during the Premier League clash v Man United at Old Trafford.
Pep Guardiola’s side dominated possession without causing any major problems for United during the first half and headed into the break level at 0-0.
The second half saw more of the same, with neither side creating any major opportunities aside from Foden, who was denied by a goal-saving challenge from Noussair Mazraoui.
The spotlight following the game was once again fixed on the England midfielder who failed to make an impact before he was withdrawn after just 58 minutes.
During his time on the pitch, he failed to hit the target with any of his shots or complete a single dribble, completed just 11 passes, missed one big chance and won just one of his five duels. (Sofascore)
As a result, the travelling supporters were left raging at his “horrible” performance, with their patience beginning to wear thin.

Man City asking questions about Phil Foden’s form
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider last month that questions are being asked of Foden after his performances so far this season.
He has been widely scrutinised for his dip in performances off the back of winning last year’s PFA Premier League Player of the Year award.
England boss Thomas Tuchel was critical of Foden after his performance in the 2-0 win against Albania, where he was withdrawn after 74 minutes.
Now, City fans have also begun to turn on the midfielder who has failed to step up.
This comes after Brown told Football Insider in November that Man City staff are concerned about Foden as a result of his poor form so far this season.
Phil Foden leaves fans raging after what he did v Man United
Foden has struggled to step up for City during a difficult season which has also seen the likes of Kevin de Bruyne and Rodri miss a number of games through injury.
This is not the first time supporters have been critical of the midfielder, as Man City fans slammed his performance v Liverpool in February.
Now, fans have taken to social media once again to make their frustrations known as the England man was labelled “terrible” and “disgraceful”.
