Man City fans have been left raging at Phil Foden after his performance in the Premier League clash with Arsenal at the Emirates.
Pep Guardiola’s side fell to a shocking 5-1 defeat away from home after Martin Odegaard opened the scoring after just two minutes.
The second half saw Erling Haaland equalise for the visitors, before goals from Thomas Partey, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Kai Havertz and Ethan Nwaneri put the result beyond all doubt.
However, it was Foden’s display which attracted the attention of the travelling supporters after he failed to have any positive impact on the game.

On top of that, it was his error which directly led to the Gunners’ third goal after he gave the ball away in midfield, and he was hooked off by Guardiola after 72 minutes.

His performances for England have also come under heavy scrutiny as he has so far failed to show the same form for his country as he has for City at his best.
During the clash against Arsenal, travelling City fans took to social media to label the attacking midfielder “dreadful”, “horrible” and “unacceptable” after what they saw.
