Man City fans fume at ‘clown’ Micah Richards after his surprise confession
Man City fans managed to secure progress into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday (1 March) by defeating Plymouth Argyle.
The defending Premier League champions conceded in the 38th minute of the game but fought back to win the tie 3-1.
A brace from teenager Nico O’Reilly and a 90th-minute goal from Kevin De Bruyne kept City in the competition heading into the quarter-final stage.
The prestigious tournament currently serves as City’s only opportunity for silverware this season, placing increasing pressure on the team when it comes to these fixtures.
Pep Guardiola’s side failed to reach the EFL Cup final and have already been knocked out of the Champions League in what is proving to be a tough season.

Micah Richards questioned if Man City are a big club
Former City player Micah Richards worked on BBC during the FA Cup weekend and reflected on the teams that are left in the competition.
He said, “It’s very open, what a chance a team to go and win it now all the ‘big teams’ are out now. I mean Man City, maybe, obviously the strongest team still in there.”
Richards’ comments about his former club immediately caught the attention of supporters who felt that he wasn’t taking the team seriously.

Man City fans want Micah Richards stripped of his ambassador status
Richards is often used by Sky Sports and BBC as the main City pundit, giving his opinions on the club he used to play for, and his comments infuriated supporters.
Fans held nothing back in slamming him for his latest punditry by stating he’s “Not one of us,” while they also demanded that he remove the ‘Ambassador’ status from his bio.
