Erling Haaland: Man City ‘reach agreement’ to sign striker for £68m after key development – sources
Man City have agreed personal terms with Erling Haaland and he is poised to join them in a blockbuster summer deal, Football Insider understands.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that the Borussia Dortmund superstar, 21, has now “reached an agreement in principle” to head to the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season.

The Premier League leaders will trigger the £68million release clause in Haaland’s Dortmund contract and complete what will be a mega-money deal.
City manager Pep Guardiola has been backed by the club’s Abu Dhabi owners in a concerted pursuit that will see the forward become one of the world’s best-paid players.
The death last week of Mino Raiola, the super-agent who represented Haaland, will not be a hurdle to the deal being completed.
It has been worked on for many months, with Haaland senior also a key figure in deciding his son’s future.
The former midfielder, 49, spent three years at City at the turn of the millennium and has long been convinced it would be the perfect move this summer.
Guardiola’s team will be getting one of the world’s most sought-after players for £30m less than the club-record fee paid for Jack Grealish last summer.
City have been in the market for a blue-chip striker for 12 months and paved the way with the £55million January sale of Ferran Torres to Barcelona.

Haaland is having another goal-drenched campaign in Germany.
He has 28 goals and eight assists from just 28 matches this season, in which he has missed 14 Bundesliga and Champions League games due to injury.
