Man City hit by Ruben Dias ‘blow’ as new details of injury revealed – pundit
Paul Robinson has claimed the extent of Ruben Dias’ injury lay-off is “a blow” to Man City.
However, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one pointed out the fact that the 25-year-old has not been a regular starter this season.
Dias missed Man City’s 3-1 win over Leeds United on Wednesday (28 December).

Sources have told Football Insider that the centre-back is set to spend a month on the sidelines with a thigh problem sustained in the World Cup.
The Portugal international is said to be desperate to prove his fitness before City’s trip to Old Trafford on 14 January.
When asked by Football Insider for his thoughts on the injury news, Robinson said: “In truth, he has not played that much this season.
“He has not been a regular starter anyway. They have so much strength in depth in that position.
“[Nathan] Ake has done really well this season. He surprised me in the World Cup as well. [Aymeric] Laporte, John Stones and [Manuel] Akanji have also all played. There is some serious competition for those two centre-half positions.

“Look, the injury to Dias is a blow, make no mistake about it. But, we have to recognise that he has not been a regular starter for them this season.
“I don’t think Guardiola will see it as a massive problem. It will not give him any major headaches unless there are other injuries in that area.”
