Man City news: ‘Massive’ Kevin De Bruyne injury claim after what pundit has ‘heard’
Paul Robinson has stressed the “massive” importance of Man City keeping Kevin De Bruyne fit for the remainder of the season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Premier League goalkeeper said the 30-year-old is City’s “best player“ and is missed “dearly“ when not available.
De Bruyne suffered a knock against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.

As quoted by Sky Sports (14 April), Pep Guardiola said his side are in “big trouble“ when discussing De Bruyne’s fitness.
However, the Belgium international recovered to take a place on the bench in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday.
He was an unused substitute in a 3-2 defeat to Liverpool.
When asked for his thoughts on the importance of De Bruyne’s fitness, Robinson told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs: “It’s massive.
“He’s their best player and they miss him dearly when he’s not in the side.
“We heard Guardiola’s comments in the press conference. He knows just how important De Bruyne is.
“To lose De Bruyne for a length of time would be a blow on the field but in the dressing room as well. It’s such an important time of the season. You need your best players fit and firing on all cylinders.
“They have massive games coming up. They cannot afford to lose any bodies, let alone their best player.”

De Bruyne has been one of the Premier League’s standout players this season.
He has contributed 14 goals and eight assists in 37 appearances across all competitions.
In other news, it can be revealed Guardiola is ‘not happy’ with Man City star after behind-the-scenes brawl.
