Man City now a money-making machine after journalist’s £5m reveal – Robinson
Paul Robinson has suggested Man City have perfected their business model amid a potential £5million windfall from Leeds United winger Jack Harrison.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England goalkeeper said the Premier League champions method of selling academy products is also serving them right.
According to the Mirror‘s Simon Mullock (17 July), Man City will bank nearly £5million if Leeds sell Harrison for £35million this summer.

Newcastle United are said to be interested in a deal for the English winger.
Man City sold Harrison to Leeds United for £11million in 2021 and inserted a clause which will see them receive 20 per cent of any future profit made on the player.
City have already raised over £25million from the sales of under-23 players Gavin Bazunu, Romeo Lavia and Darko Gyabi this summer.
When asked by Football Insider if City had become a money-making machine when it comes to transfers, Robinson said: “They seem to be now.
“It has taken a while for them though. They obviously had the issues with Financial Fair Play but everything seems to be in place now. The method is right, if you like.

“They trade players yet keep their squad so fresh and so strong.
“The business model that they have means they can make a lot of money out of their younger players. It is clearly working right now.”
In other news, Kieran Maguire cannot believe what has been said in a Man City court case and claims ‘it doesn’t make sense’.
