Man City reach full agreement over Savio deal as arrival date revealed – sources
Man City have agreed a deal to sign Girona star Savio, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, transfer correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the Citizens are set to bring the winger to the Etihad next season.
It is believed that Savio, 19, is not expected to have an immediate impact on Pep Guardiola’s starting line-up, but will feature in the matchday squads.
No official confirmation has been heard from City, but the teenager is expected to link up with the Premier League and Champions League holders in the new season.

The Brazilian has had an exceptional campaign with Girona this season having bagged 10 goals and seven assists across 33 appearances in all competitions.
Savio is currently on loan to the La Liga side from Ligue 2 side Troyes, with both clubs owned by the City Football Group – the holding company that owns 100 per cent of Man City.
He joined the City Football Group from Brazilian side Atletico Mineiro in the summer of 2022 reportedly for an initial £5.5million with up to £5.1million in potential add-ons.
The Brazil international was initially sent to Troyes but has been sent out on loan to PSV Eindhoven and Girona.
Savio has been a key player in Girona’s unexpected title challenge in La Liga and recently earned his senior debut for Brazil in the recent international break as a 78th-minute substitute against England last month (23 March).
Man City sit third in the Premier League table after their 4-1 win against Aston Villa on Wednesday night (3 April) and are three points behind table-toppers Liverpool.
They are next in action against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon (6 April).
