Man City star Phil Foden destroyed as ’embarrassing’ stats emerge from Arsenal clash

Man City star Phil Foden has been slaughtered for dropping a “generational stinker” against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon (31 March).

Liverpool proved to be the true victors of the Etihad showdown between the Gunners and the Citizens, who battled out a 0-0 draw in a crucial title race clash.

Neither side generated many good opportunities to take the lead with just three shots on target mustered between them, but Foden’s “embarrassing” stats had fans talking.

Pep Guardiola named the attacker in his starting line-up, but he was hauled off after 61 minutes for Jeremy Doku having failed to make any noticeable impact on the game.

Phil Foden was “absolutely awful” for Man City against Arsenal

During his time on the pitch at the Etihad, the England international managed no shots on target, no successful dribbles, 48 touches, 35 accurate passes and only one key pass.

Foden was frequently nullified by Arsenal defender Ben White and struggled to even get the ball into the Gunners’ box.

Fans have taken to social media to destroy the “fraud’s” display, and many are adamant that he is overrated.
