Medical expert: Jack Grealish could be out for six weeks’ after latest from Man City
It would not come as a major shock if Jack Grealish was out of action for six weeks at Man City.
That is the view of injury expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in medicine and data analysis.
Grealish, who signed from Aston Villa in a blockbuster £100million deal last summer, has missed City’s last two games with a stress-related shin injury.

Pep Guardiola told club media yesterday (18 February) that he is likely to miss today’s clash with Tottenham but will return for the “next few weeks.”
Dinnery told this site earlier today that the nature of the 26-year-old’s setback makes it difficult to predict a definitive return date.
And the medical guru suggests that the England superstar could be out for anywhere between one and six weeks.
“It’s an issue that we have been aware of for a while,” he told Football Insider‘s Adam Williams.
“If Grealish was to return in a week, would that surprise me? No. If he was to be ruled out for six weeks, would that surprise me? No.
“We know it’s not as severe as the problem that he had at Aston Villa. City and Villa are two completely different entities.
“Grealish was their talisman at Villa. All their attacking metrics and outputs nosedived when he was out of the team.
“There was a need and desire for him to get back on the pitch as soon as possible.
“He was probably overworked and because he was pushed at the wrong moment, he suffered setbacks. At City, you don’t have that.
“If Grealish doesn’t play, Foden, Jesus, Mahzrez, Gundogan, Bernado, De Bruyne, Sterling are all available.
“City can afford to manage him a bit better and not rush his return to play.”

Grealish has registered three goals and three assists since his move from Villa.
He hit seven goals and supplied 12 assists last term.
