Man City tipped to seal ‘massive’ Haaland signing for ‘£64m’ as Raiola talks reported – pundit
Paddy Kenny has backed Manchester City to pull off the “massive” signing of Erling Haaland for a “bargain” fee next summer.
The former Premier League goalkeeper, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested Pep Guardiola’s men would offer the 21-year-old “whatever he wants” to join the club.
As reported by The Times (13th October), Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola is set to hold talks with City over a potential move from Dortmund at the end of the season.

Haaland is contracted to the German giants until 2024.
However, the Norwegian striker reportedly has a £64million release clause in his contract that will activate next summer.
Kenny insisted the eight-figure fee would be a steal for a player of Haaland’s quality and potential.
He suggested City would do everything to get him to the Etihad Stadium ahead of their rivals.
“Listen, Tottenham were looking at £120-130million for Harry Kane, who’s a lot older than Haaland,” Kenny told Football Insider’s Russell Edge.
“To think you’re going to get someone of his quality and physique, look at him, he’s an absolute machine. He scores goals for fun.
“To get him for £64million is an absolute bargain. I’m sure City can get him, I’m sure wage-wise they’ll pay him whatever he wants.
“It’ll be a massive signing because obviously, to me, they could do with a big number nine like Haaland.”
Haaland has established himself as one of Europe’s top hitmen since joining Dortmund in January 2020.

He has scored 70 goals in 68 appearances for the Bundesliga side, with a further 19 assists under his belt.
He has also dazzled for Norway, scoring 12 times in 15 games for his country.
