Man City will be worried about long-term Erling Haaland injury after confirmed news – pundit
Frank McAvennie has insisted Man City won’t be worried about missing Erling Haaland for a few games.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former West Ham striker claimed City will need to be mindful of longer-term injuries to the 22-year-old.
Haaland was not included in the matchday squad for the Sky Blues’ 1-0 win over Leicester City on Saturday (29 October).

The striker was withdrawn at half time in the 0-0 draw with Borussia Dortmund last week (25 October).
Speaking to club media after the victory (29 October), Pep Guardiola said he is unlikely to risk the Norwegian against Sevilla on Wednesday (2 November), given they have already secured the top position of Champions League Group G.
McAvennie said City should be more concerned with Haaland being out longer-term.
“If it is down to Haaland he will want to play every game and I have not got any complaints about that,” he told Football Insider.
“I would not worry about Haaland missing a game or two, it is long term injuries you need to worry about. Missing a couple of games is nothing. They have got good enough players there.

“They did it for years without a number nine, they can go a game or two. I have not got a problem with people wanting to play because I wanted to play every game.
“I do not think they will bother missing him, they have such a good squad it just does not matter.“
