Man City ‘worried’ about Jack Grealish after critical update – pundit
Jack Grealish’s recurring shin problem will be “a worry” for Man City, according to Paul Robinson.
The former Spurs and England goalkeeper, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed Pep Guardiola will be desperately awaiting the 26-year-old’s return.
Grealish missed Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to Tottenham because of injury.
Speaking to club media on Friday (18 February), Guardiola revealed that the attacking midfielder’s shin is once again troubling him.
Grealish was sidelined for three months at Aston Villa last season because of his shin.
However, his current issue is not said to be as serious.
Robinson claimed Man City missed Grealish against Tottenham.
“They paid £100million for him so I’m sure the injury is a worry given that it’s a recurring one,” he told Football Insider.
“Guardiola will want him fully fit every week. They missed his creativity a little bit against Spurs. Man City’s front six was star-studded though and I doubt Grealish would have started had he been fit.
“Guardiola will want him back as soon as possible because they have not got that out and out striker.
“The front six players are on a rotation and they will all be needed now the Champions League is back. They need Grealish back sooner rather than later.”

City signed Grealish from Aston Villa in a £100million deal in August.
He has contributed three goals and three assists in 25 appearances across all competitions this term.
