Man United ace Bruno Fernandes sends message to Leny Yoro after injury update
Man United captain Bruno Fernandes took to social media to send Leny Yoro a message of encouragement after the youngster’s return to training.
The 18-year-old is back in training after injuring his foot in Man United’s 2-1 pre-season defeat to Arsenal in the summer.
Yoro, who joined from French side Lille for £52million in the summer is now undergoing individual training sessions at Carrington and working hard in the gym as part of his recovery.
After beating Real Madrid to his signature, the centre-back is yet to make a competitive appearance for Erik ten Hag’s side after the set-back that required surgery.
Leny Yoro nearing Man United return
The youngster made 44 appearances across all competitions for Lille last season, popping up with three goals along the way.
His fine form earned him a place in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year in 2023-24 with clubs across the continent vying for his signature.
Responding to a video posted on Yoro’s Instagram, Fernandes, 30, left a message of encouragement for the youngster.

It’s been a tough start to the season for Man United, wallowing down in 12th with just 11 points from their opening eight Premier League games.
