Man United boss Ruben Amorim goes viral as social media footage emerges

Man United manager Ruben Amorim made a young fan’s day after footage emerged of him giving them a tour of Carrington.

The 39-year-old has struggled to get Man United firing since taking over from Erik ten Hag in November, winning four, drawing one, and losing five of his ten games in charge.

United have lost their last three games across all competitions, seeing them get knocked out of the League Cup by Tottenham and fall to 14th in the Premier League following defeats to Bournemouth and Wolves.

The 20-time champions have remarkably become the first team in Premier League history to lose five, or more, games in December in two consecutive seasons.

Amorim will be hoping to end 2024 with a bang as they travel to Eddie Howe’s in-form Newcastle side for their last game of the year on Monday (December 30).

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Newcastle, Amorim admitted his job could be in danger if results don’t change, saying: “The manager of Manchester United can never, no matter what, be comfortable. They paid the buy-out clause to get me.

“I know that if you don’t win, every manager is in danger and I like that because that is the job. You can argue that I have been here one month and I’ve had only a few training sessions but we are not winning. That is the reality and I’m quite comfortable with that.”

Man United’s only win in their last five games came in the form of a smash-and-grab 2-1 Manchester Derby win over arch-rivals Man City.

Amorim will no doubt be working tirelessly to get things on the right track at Man United but still found time to give a young fan a tour around Carrington.

The young fan commented on his car, to which Amorim responded by telling him to ask his mother if he could come on a drive around the training ground with him.

United’s 2025 couldn’t start much worse as they prepare for a trip to League leaders and arch-rivals Liverpool on Sunday (January 5).

They will then travel to Arsenal for their first and potentially last FA Cup game of the season as they seek to salvage their season.
