Man United fans have been left raging at Lisandro Martinez after the centre-back picked up a yellow card in the clash v Everton.
Ruben Amorim’s side cruised to a comfortable 4-0 win at Old Trafford thanks to two goals each from Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee.
However, the centre-back’s performance grabbed the attention of the fans after he picked up a booking which means he will now be suspended for the trip to face Arsenal on Wednesday (4 December).
Kobbie Mainoo was also handed a yellow card during the victory, and will also miss the clash against Arsenal in what has been labelled a “huge blow” to United.
This has left the home crowd raging at the Argentine centre-back, as he was labelled “stupid” for picking up a needless booking with his side already in control of the game.
Arsenal have picked up their form of late, beating Nottingham Forest 3-0 before dispatching West Ham 5-2, and United fans are now fearing the worst.

Having two key players absent for a visit to the Emirates has put a heavy dent in United’s chances of taking anything from the game, despite the renewed optimism of Amorim’s arrival.
A comfortable 4-0 win against Everton was the perfect way for the boss to introduce himself to the Old Trafford crowd, but it was quickly tainted by the two bookings.
Taking to social media during the game, United fans have slammed into Martinez, labelling him an “idiot” as they were left stunned by his decision.
