‘Man United demolishing stadium for Gary Neville construction project’ – fans explode
Man United have unveiled their ambitious new 100,000-seater stadium plans as the club looks to provide the best in class, but it has divided opinion.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been working on delivering a new stadium since he became the co-owner, and he has taken a significant step forward in that journey less than 24 hours after his controversial interview with Gary Neville.
It has been a difficult period for the 20-time champions since Ratcliffe got involved which has led to him making a series of unpopular decisions behind-the-scenes.
United have pulled free meals for staff and have cut funds for former players while hundreds of United staff members have lost their jobs amid huge cost-cutting measures.
However, that isn’t putting a stop to United’s ambitious regeneration plans for the local area which will include a fresh stadium.
