Expert: Man United dressing room could implode as Sascha Lense details emerge
The Man United dressing room could implode if the club do not appoint the right psychologist as Sascha Lense’s successor.
That is the view of medical expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in data analysis.
Lense joined United alongside outgoing interim manager Ralf Rangnick in December last year.

The Manchester Evening News reported on Monday (16 May) that it is likely that the German sports psychologist will be moved on in the summer.
The Red Devils’ season has been blighted by dressing room leaks and tales of disharmony within the squad.
And Dinnery claims that the next psychologist will have a major role to play in turning things around.
“It’s difficult because you have so many big personalities there,” he told Football Insider’s Adam Williams.
“It’s all about how you manage those. For players and teams to fulfil their potential, you need to have everything in place off the pitch to try and facilitate that.
“You need to be in a position where you don’t have anything else to worry about and your focus is sharp.
“All appointments in a huge club like United have got to be made very carefully. It’s a very fine balance. You are trying to mitigate any risk by doing your due diligence.
“It’s not just about what candidates are presenting in face-to-face interviews, it’s about their backgrounds and who they have worked with previously.
“How will they fit in the wider circle of the club? It’s very much a synergy between different departments nowadays.
“These appointments couldn’t be more imperative. It can all go wrong if you don’t get it absolutely spot on.”

United face Crystal Palace on the final day of the season on Sunday (22 May).
They could drop out of the Europa League places if they drop points at Selhurst Park.
