Man United exit beckons for Dean Henderson after Romano reveal – Campbell
Dean Henderson will once again try to leave Man United this summer as David de Gea closes in on a new contract.
That is the view of former Premier League striker Kevin Campbell, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Henderson’s future at Old Trafford.
Speaking to The United Stand (28 February), Fabrizio Romano revealed the club want to extend De Gea’s contract this year.

Ralf Rangnick, the board and the team are all said to appreciate their number one, who’s current deal expires in June 2023.
De Gea has started all but three of the Reds Devils’ fixtures across all competitions this season.
When asked how De Gea’s form and potential contract renewal could effect Henderson, 24, Campbell told Football Insider: “Henderson is going to want to leave.
“He is not going to hang around because he wants to play.
“He has watched Ramsdale leave Sheffield United, become number one at Arsenal and take his place in the England squad. Ramsdale is getting rave reviews and I’m sure Henderson wants that.

“Henderson has to get himself into a club where he will be number one. He has to play more games. That is the most important thing.
“Let’s be honest, David de Gea is a good pro who looks after himself. If he signs a new long-term deal there is not going to be many opportunities at Manchester United. He is firmly the number one.”
