Man United expected to ‘entertain offers’ for Eric Bailly and star teammate – Robinson
Paul Robinson suspects Man United would listen to offers for both Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof in this window.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one said none of United’s centre-halves were good enough in the 2021-22 campaign.
Fabrizio Romano told Caught Offside (27 July), Jose Mourinho wants to sign Bailly for AS Roma.

The Ivory Coast international, who has two years remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, struggled for game time last season.
His opportunities are likely to be further restricted by the arrival of Lisandro Martinez from Ajax.
Martinez can play as a centre-half, left-back and as a holding midfielder.
When asked by Football Insider if United should cash in on Bailly this summer, Robinson said: “Man United had a problem with their backline last season.
“Whether it was Lindelof and Bailly, [Raphael] Varane and [Harry] Maguire, it did not click.
“I think Varane is the best centre-half they have got. If he is fit it should be him plus another.
“No one was as good as they should have been last season though.

“There needs to be drastic changes at Man United. They need to bring in players that the manager likes and that the manager wants to work with.
“I think Lindelof is also for sale this summer. if a suitable bid came in for Bailly and Lindelof I think United would entertain it.”
In other news, a pundit has claimed Man United may have to walk away from Frenkie de Jong deal after journalist’s update.
