Man United fans can’t believe what they are seeing from Rasmus Hojlund
Man United fans were mesmerised by Rasmus Hojlund’s “phenomenal” performance against Luton Town on Sunday evening (18 February).
The Reds Devils secured their fourth consecutive Premier League victory against the relegation battlers at Kenilworth Road in the 2-1 win, with both goals scored by the £72million man.
The Dane secured United’s victory very quickly after bagging both his goals in the first seven minutes.
His first strike was a gift from Hatters defender Amari Bell after his poor touch allowed Hojlund to go one-on-one and score inside the opening minute.
Man United fans say Rasmus Hojlund is better than Erling Haaland
His second looked to be a deflection off of Alejandro Garnacho’s long-range effort, but the goal became Hojlund’s seventh in his last five league starts.
The 21-year-old also broke Joe Willock’s record by becoming the youngest-ever player to score in six successive Premier League matches.
He was subbed off by Erik ten Hag in the 86th minute for Sofyan Amrabat, but United fans hailed the striker’s exceptional link-up play and passing as well as his game-winning brace.
They have taken to social media to react to his “monster” performance, and some have even been convinced that he is better than superstar Man City forward Erling Haaland.
