Leny Yoro left Man United fans thrilled after his Premier League debut performance for the Red Devils in their 2-0 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates.
The 19-year-old centre-back joined the Red Devils in the summer after impressing at Ligue 1 side Lille last season, signing for an initial £52.2 million plus add-ons [Sky Sports].
Yoro then fractured the fifth metatarsal in his left foot on the Red and White Army’s pre-season tour, ruling him out for around three months.
It has been a long road to recovery for the teenager but on Wednesday night, he finally made his competitive debut for the club as he replaced Harry Maguire in the 59th minute and despite the poor results fans were delighted by what they saw.

The Frenchman made an decent impact in his Premier League debut, with two clearances, two tackles won, completed 86% of his passes and won four duels from just 36 minutes against Arsenal [TNT Sports].
He was a bright spark in an otherwise disappointing performance for the Manchester club as Ruben Amorim’s young reign took a hit.
United’s defender looked comfortable in possession against the Gunners and, after a handful of well-timed challenges in the final half hour, many expressed their delight at his composed display.
One fan wrote on X that the youngster was “the only good thing that happened today” whilst another said he looks “unbelievably talented”.
