Man United fans taken aback by Bruno Fernandes after ‘dressing room’ reveal

Man United fans have been left impressed by Bruno Fernandes’ leadership after Phil Jones revealed what he’s like as a captain.

The former United defender analysed the 30-year-old during Match of the Day 2 after the 1-1 draw against Chelsea.

Jones said, “I almost get the impression he’s a little bit misinterpreted at times, and I can only go off my experience in the dressing room that I spent with him and the time that I played with him.

“He’s a leader in that dressing room; he’s really good with the young lads.”

Fernandes scored his first goal of the season against the Blues on Sunday (3 November), but the Premier League giants drew the game 1-1.

The Portugal international was named captain by Erik ten Hag after he controversially stripped Harry Maguire of the armband.
