Man United fans think Roy Keane hates one player for no particular reason

Man United battled hard to earn a point against Arsenal at Old Trafford, but not everyone was happy after the final whistle with some fans taking issue with club legend Roy Keane.

Man United took the lead through Bruno Fernandes, but despite a resilient performance, they couldn’t hold on for all three points as Arsenal found an equaliser.

The second half saw David Raya deny United on multiple occasions, pulling off impressive saves to keep out efforts from Noussair Mazraoui, Joshua Zirkzee, and Fernandes late on.

Man United fans were raving about Ayden Heaven after the game following his dominant performance as the 18-year-old was introduced at half-time for Leny Yoro.

Heaven was also involved in a handball incident, but former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett backed referee Anthony Taylor’s decision not to award a penalty.

Despite the solid team display and standout individual performances, some United supporters weren’t focused on the game itself. Instead, many turned their frustrations towards Keane, criticising his continued comments about a particular player.

Roy Keane questions Bruno Fernandes despite key goal against Arsenal

Despite another crucial goal for United, Keane had mixed words for captain Fernandes during his analysis on Sky Sports Super Sunday at half-time.

The former United midfielder seemed to praise the Portuguese star but also suggested he could offer more to the team by saying: “Captain fantastic! I’ve never doubted his quality, but I think he could do more for the team”.

Earlier this season, some Man United fans criticised Keane for his negative comments about Fernandes, and his latest remarks have once again sparked frustration among the fanbase.

Despite United’s struggles this season, the Portuguese has remained a key figure, making 42 appearances across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing 13 assists. His consistency has been one of the few positives in an otherwise disappointing campaign.

Man United fans fume at Roy Keane’s latest Bruno Fernandes criticism

Mick Brown, a former chief scout at Old Trafford, told Football Insider that Man United are working hard to secure Fernandes’ future beyond this season.

Regardless of the team’s poor league position as they currently languish in 14th, he has shown his commitment to the side this season with crucial goals. Many supporters were left angered by Keane’s repeated criticism, feeling it was unjustified given Fernandes’ performances.

One fan wrote: “Roy Keane resents Bruno Fernandes for some bizarre reason”. Another added: “He is doing more. What more is this guy asking for?”
