Man United in race to agree Randal Kolo Muani deal – sources
Man United could fight Bundesliga side RB Leipzig to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Randal Kolo Muani on loan in January, sources have told Football Insider.
The 26-year-old will be available in the new year after falling out of favour in the French capital.
United would have to submit a loan offer for the France international as temporary deals are the only way Ruben Amorim can strengthen in January.
The Red Devils are operating under financial restrictions after the costly sacking of Erik ten Hag earlier this season.
Amorim wants help in the forward department with Joshua Zirkzee failing to impress the new boss and questions lingering about Marcus Rashford’s attitude and application.
It is believed a left-back signing will be the most pressing target for United chiefs in January.
Kolo Muani is wanted by clubs across Europe but it is Leipzig who are showing the strongest interest as they bid to bring him back to Germany.
The Frenchman cost a reported £76.4million when he left Eintracht Frankfurt to join PSG in 2023.
