Man United ‘make move to sign new striker’ for Ruben Amorim
Man United have made contact with PSG over the January signing of Randal Kolo Muani, French outlet Le 10 Sport have reported.
Football Insider previously revealed that the Red Devils tried to sign the striker from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023, shortly before he joined the French champions in a deal worth up to €90million [£75m] (BBC Sport).
It is now claimed that the Old Trafford club have spoken to PSG about the possibility of signing the 25-year-old at the turn of the year.
There have recently been suggestions that Man United will be working with a limited budget in the transfer window.
Therefore, they have reportedly suggested a loan deal for Kolo Muani, with discussions expected to continue for the rest of the year, as they attempt to secure a striker for new manager Ruben Amorim.

There is no denying that the Red Devils ought to be looking to sign a new striker once the transfer market reopens.
Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have both struggled to get goals consistently this season.
As a result, some more attacking firepower will surely be needed if Amorim is to get the results he wants to make a strong start to his time as Man United manager.
However, things have not exactly gone brilliantly for Kolo Muani since he made the move to PSG, where he has struggled for both goals and game time after 11 goals in 52 often-substitute appearances.
That may lead to some questions about whether he is the most suitable option to provide that threat in front of goal that Amorim’s side are going to need.
Other names have been linked with such a role who could arguably be more viable candidates to fill that role.
With that in mind, given the importance of such a signing when it comes to results, it could be argued that even on loan the signing of Kolo Muani could be a gamble for Man United.
