Man United ‘new signing’ spotted at fans training ground – fans thrilled
Man United fans have been left thrilled after it has been confirmed that Luke Shaw has returned to team training.
The club confirmed that the full-back was back training at Carrington on Wednesday before their upcoming Europa League fixture against FCSB.
The 20-time champions worked in front of the media for a period of time, and the England international was seen as part of the group.
This is the first time that the 29-year-old has been on the grass since early December when he suffered a small setback which has kept him out of action since then.
Shaw has only been a substitute three times since Ruben Amorim took charge at Old Trafford after an injury-plagued 12 months.
It is unclear whether Shaw will be traveling to Bucharest for United’s next match, or if United are going to take a slower approach in bringing him back into the squad.
Man United fans are thrilled by Luke Shaw’s return
Shaw has only played 98 minutes of football this season due to his injury problems, which have led to the club looking for another player in that area.
Sky Sports confirmed that United are closing in on signing Patrick Dorgu this month, which would provide real competition for Shaw at left-back.
However, United fans are happy to see the England international back on the grass and claimed he’ll “add a lot to the defense.”
