The Portugal international boasts nine goals and 13 assists across all competitions despite United’s struggles this season.
As quoted by the BBC (22 February), Fernandes denied that there is a split in the dressing room at Old Trafford.
When asked for his assessment of Fernandes’ form, Campbell told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs: “Fernandes has been unbelievable for United over the past couple of years.
“He is a top quality player who is always a threat. The fact that he can get a goal is great.
“He grabs goals but it’s his creativity that sets him apart from the rest. That is what he was really brought into Man United to do. His passing range and vision gives Manchester United another dimension.
“He is playing pretty well of late. There is more to come from this United team and Fernandes is going to be central to it.”

Speaking on Tuesday, Fernandes said: “If we stick to the plan and stick together, that is the main thing.
“Losing together and winning together.”
