‘Man United players deny exit request after Rashford, Sancho and Garnacho news’
Man United continue to find themselves at odds with fallen stars like Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and Alejandro Garnacho.
The Red Devils had been keen to move on several big-name players early in the summer to make room for several incoming players.
Matheus Cunha was signed from Wolves for £62.5million, whilst the club’s former chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider Bryan Mbeumo is close to joining United from Brentford.
But despite being keen on clearing out players who have no place left in Ruben Amorim’s plans, offers have not been forthcoming.
And according to The Athletic, there is a disconnect between the information that is being provided by United club sources and some of the players’ camps.

Man United say five players including Rashford asked to leave club
The club have given Rashford, Garnacho, Sancho, Antony, and defender Tyrell Malacia permission to return to pre-season training later than the rest of the squad this summer.
All five of the aforementioned players have been linked with moves away from Old Trafford.
Antony enjoyed a productive spell out on loan at Real Betis, and the Brazilian is a target for the Spanish club plus Bayer Leverkusen.
Meanwhile, Rashford and Garnacho are expected to leave after falling out with Amorim last season, whilst Sancho has been targeted by Napoli after Chelsea paid a £5million penalty clause to cancel the purchase clause in the winger’s loan deal.
And Malacia spent last year with Feyenoord after making just three Premier League appearances in an injury-hit campaign.
As reported by The Athletic, club sources say “the quintet have asked to leave the club”, but “some of the player camps deny this”, saying they would happily return with the rest of the group on 7 July.
The club’s medical facilities will “remain open to all five players” should they require them, and “United will continue to support the players remotely”.

Man United attempting to sell players in crowded market
Football Insider Verdict
Few positions are currently as flush with options as the winger market this summer, but United are attempting to offload four of them at the same time.
Sancho and Rashford are problematic transfers for several reasons. Both English wingers are arguably several years removed from their peak, and are handsomely compensated, limiting the market for teams that could afford their wages.
The question is, though, with younger and more affordable options such as Lyon’s Malick Fofana or Feyenoord’s Igor Paixao available, why buy either of United’s unwanted duo?
Rashford and Sancho showed glimpses of their world-class talents last season on loan at their respective clubs, but nothing more.

Garnacho on the other hand, is without question the most in-form player of the quintet and has the highest ceiling. But Chelsea‘s decision to pursue a deal for Jamie Gittens over signing the Argentine winger is telling when it comes to how the youngster is currently perceived by other major clubs.
Despite enduring the most difficult time in England out of the foursome, Antony probably has the best chance of a move away after a restorative spell in Spain, but once again, no offer has yet been forthcoming.
In reality, United may have to contend with the fact that selling all four, or five including Malacia, of the players they want to move on is simply unfeasible. And as such it may be time for Amorim to begin mending fences with some of his players, rather than simply keeping them on the outskirts providing nothing to a team in need of all the help it can get.
