Man United sent ‘scared’ warning by pundit after development
Man United must not get carried away after winning two Premier League games in a row.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Red Devils’ recent performances.
Man United have now won back-to-back Premier League games after beating Southampton 1-0 on Saturday (27 August).
This followed last Monday’s (22 August) 2-1 win over Liverpool at Old Trafford.
the pressure has now eased on Erik ten Hag after what was initially a poor start to the 2022-23 season.
Kenny has told Ten Hag’s side to not get carried away and to take the rest of the season game by game.
“Well, it’s important people don’t get carried away, I’m sure they won’t,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“It’s a long season but the key is to now not take your foot off the gas. You have to keep going, one game at a time to keep going up the table.
“The motivation is to not feel like they did after the first few games of the season again. They should be going into games playing well and not being scared of the opposition.
“Take the 1-0 wins even if it isn’t pretty because that is what will sort them out.”

Man United are next in action against Leicester City on Thursday (1 September).
They may also welcome a new signing this week with Sky Sports reporting on Monday (29 August) that an £85million deal for Ajax winger Antony has been agreed.
In other news, Kieran Maguire has claimed Man United are ready to strike a £200million deal as a Glazer funding plan emerges.
