Man United star Marcus Rashford posts unbelievable Google Maps throwback

Man United star Marcus Rashford posted a remarkable image following his impressive performance in the 7-0 League Cup win over Barnsley on Tuesday (September 17).

The 26-year-old scored a brace and provided an assist for Alejandro Garnacho to help the Premier League giants progress past League One Barnsley.

The left winger has received stick from fans and pundits alike for his performances so far this season, having provided just one goal contribution in the club’s opening four Premier League games.

Rashford has scored in two consecutive games for the first time since March, netting twice against Barnsley and once against Southampton in Man United’s 3-0 win on Saturday (September 14).

The England international will be hoping his recent up-turn in form will help him rediscover the goal scoring though he had in 2022-23, Erik ten Hag’s first season as Man United manager.

Rashford scored an impressive 30 goals in 56 appearances across all competitions that season but has only managed 11 in 49 since.

He clearly still has a lot of love for the club he’s been at since he was seven years old, and he took to Instagram to post a fascinating image of him from his academy days.

With two consecutive wins under their belt, United next face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday (September 21) with the London club still looking for their first win.

Man United currently sit in tenth with two wins and two defeats in their opening four Premier League games.
