Medical insider issues ‘incredible’ Man United claim as Cristiano Ronaldo injury images emerge
Man United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is an “incredible” professional and will not a black eye affect his output in training.
That is the view of medical expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in injury and data analysis.
Ronaldo, 37, started for Portugal in both the 4-0 win over the Czech Republic and the 1-0 defeat to Spain during the international break.

As relayed by the Daily Mail on Monday (26 September), the legendary striker has been pictured sporting a black eye in training between the two fixtures.
A bloodied Ronaldo, who has just one goal for club and country this term, received pitchside treatment after a nasty collision with Czech goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik.
He is expected to be available for the Red Devils’ clash against Man City on Sunday (2 September), although he has started just once in the league this season.
Dinnery does not anticipate that his facial wound will impact Ronaldo as he stakes his claim to return to the lineup.
“He will be training as normal,” he told Football Insider’s Adam Williams,
“He has come through sessions without any issues. It’s nothing more you would expect from Ronaldo. He’s a supreme professional.

“It’s part and parcel of the game. You are always going to pick up knocks and bangs.
“He will be focused on going out, performing and, ultimately, getting back on the scoresheet. There will be no concerns or doubts. I’ve no doubts about that.“
