
Man United fans all say same thing about Mason Mount after display vs Bodo/Glimt
Mason Mount left Man United supporters delighted with his showing during the club’s Europa League clash with Bodo/Glimt on Thursday night.
It has been a frustrating period for the midfielder since he joined the Red Devils from Chelsea back in the summer of 2023.
The 25-year-old has regularly been hampered by injuries during his time with Old Trafford, with his game time severely limited, to the frustration of many fans.
Prior to that clash with the Norwegian champions on Thursday (28 November), Mount had not started for for the Red Devils since the defeat to Brighton on the 24th August.
But having been restored to the starting XI for Ruben Amorim’s first home game in charge, many of the club’s supporters are now excited by what they saw from the England international as the 3-2 result suggested he can thrive under Portuguese as he did for Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.

While he was substituted on the hour-mark, it was nonetheless an eventful return to the lineup for Mount against Bodo/Glimt.
Making up part of the front three for the Red Devils alongside Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho, the 25-year-old got through plenty of work out of possession.
He also rattled the crossbar with a good effort early in the second half, and moments later, produced an exquisite flicked touch to give Manuel Ugarte plenty of space in the box, allowing him to tee up Hojlund to put Man United 3-2 up.
All of that meant many supporters of the club were left with some considerable confidence that there will be more to come from Mount as he builds his fitness and learns under Amorim, as they took to social media to review the game.
At long last the £60million move from Chelsea [Sky Sports] made sense as it was claimed United “stole” the midfielder, while the “amazing” 25-year-old was tipped to be a “big player” for the new boss.
