‘Man United to go all out to sign Cunha’ – Fans react to Wolves transfer latest
Man United fans have reacted to the latest transfer news around Wolves star Matheus Cunha by calling for the club to pull out all the stops to sign him.
The Brazilian forward has previously been linked with a move to Old Trafford, with Football Insider reporting back in November that the Red Devils were plotting a move.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now added fuel to the speculation on 21 January. He described Cunha as “one to watch” as the January transfer window enters its final stages [Fabrizio Romano on X].
United fans believe that if Alejandro Garnacho’s potential blockbuster move to Chelsea materialises, Cunha could be the “perfect replacement” to strengthen their squad.

Cunha has been a crucial player for Wolves this season. He’s scored ten goals and providing four assists in just 21 league games.
However, despite reports of a likely contract extension just weeks ago [The Telegraph], that now seems uncertain. Football Insider revealed that the 25-year-old’s agent has caused issues in negotiations after an initial agreement was reached.

Adding to the rumours, manager Vitor Pereira publicly criticised the striker’s body language following their 3-1 loss to Chelsea on 21 January.
Pereira stated: “I do not like his body language. I understand it now, but I will not understand it next time” [Sky Sports].
However, Arsenal are the club that have been most heavily linked to the forward, with the Gunners exploring a move earlier in the transfer window.
Still, with previous reports linking Ruben Amorim’s side to Cunha, United fans have seized on the latest developments, speculating about a potential deal.
One fan said he would “fit perfectly” in Amorim’s system. Another urged the club to go “all out” for the Brazilian forward as rumours of a potential transfer grow.
In other news, Man United are plotting a move to sign this player as an alternative to Victor Gyokeres.
