‘Man United to terminate Mason Mount’s contract’ as ’embarrassing’ picture goes viral

Man United’s season went from bad to worse on Sunday (2 March) as they were knocked out of the FA Cup at home against Fulham.

Bruno Fernandes scored a second-half equaliser to take the game to 1-1 and give his teammates hope of a comeback, but United were unable to take the lead and a penalty shootout brought an end to their hopes of retaining the trophy.

United currently sit 14th in the Premier League table and have only won nine of their 27 games to date, with fans now calling for Ruben Amorim to be fired.

Injury woes have been part of the problem for the 20-time champions this season, with the likes of Luke Shaw and Mason Mount missing significant portions of the season.

Mount has only played 12 times for United this season due to his fitness problems, which has plagued him since moving from Chelsea.
