Man United told to agree ‘£30m’ Scott McTominay deal after reveal – fans react

Man United fans have demanded the club accept an offer of £30million for Scott McTominay before the transfer window closes on 31 August.

Reports claimed Fulham would only pay up to £30million for the Scotland international.

This comes after Football Insider revealed that Man United will look to sign a new midfielder if McTominay is sold as Fulham prepare to submit an improved bid.

Sources say West Ham, Newcastle United and Southampton are also targeting the midfielder this summer and could rival Fulham for his signature.

The midfielder currently has just one year remaining on his deal at Old Trafford, and fans have called for the club to cash in.

McTominay has been an important part of United’s squad over the last few years and has established himself as a regular starter under Erik ten Hag.

Last season, the midfielder made 43 appearances across all competitions, scoring ten goals and providing three assists from midfield.

However, fans think the time has come to move him on if an offer of £30million does arrive before the window closes.

Any sale would also count as pure profit toward United’s balance sheet as Premier League clubs continue to grapple with profit and sustainability rules.
