Man United told to make behind-the-scenes change after what pundit has ‘never seen before’
Man United do not need to make drastic changes to their squad in the transfer market, according to Kevin Campbell.
The former Arsenal and Everton striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the “culture” at Old Trafford is what “really needs” to be addressed this summer.
According to The Telegraph (5 March), United’s next manager will be given a transfer budget of just £50-80million this summer.

The final figure is said to depend on whether or not Ralf Rangnick’s side secure Champions League football next season.
Either way, a move for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice would depend on how much United could generate from player sales.
When asked for his assessment of the reported budget, Campbell told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs:
“There is a number of players already leaving at the end of their contracts but they might also have to sell a couple. It looks like they will have to sell if they want to manoeuvre for their top targets anyway.
“Manchester United do not need a lot though. What they really need to do is sort that culture out. It’s been painful to watch from them at times.
“In those final stages against Man City they only had eight per cent possession. I mean, come on, I have never seen that before in my life. That tells you that something is wrong.
“It is not about the talent. It is about the application. The application has been the biggest problem for United this season.”

Man City thrashed Man United 4-1 in the derby on Sunday 6 March.
