Man United will ‘struggle’ amid ‘brutal’ new claim – expert
Man United will struggle throughout the 2022-23 season due to the uncertainty at the club.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Red Devils’ preparation ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
Man United have signed Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez this summer but have been frustrated in their attempts to sign Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona.

There are also questions over Cristiano Ronaldo’s future as he is yet to play in any of the club’s pre-season games amid speculation he wants to leave the club.
Kenny claims the Red Devils are set for another disappointing season.
“If I’m brutally honest, I don’t think they are going to do very well this season, again,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I think they will be another team that might struggle. The fans have to get behind the new manager and the players but I don’t think they have done enough.
“There are questions over Ronaldo, we don’t know if a new striker is coming in. Pre-season has been a bit hit and miss.
“We will have to see how they do but I don’t see massive improvements there. A lot can happen very quickly in the transfer window but nothing seems to be on the cards at the moment.
“I’ve said it before but I do think it’s worrying times for the club.”

Man United start their 2022-23 Premier League campaign at home against Brighton on 7 August.
However, they will play Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano in friendlies before the season starts.
