
Arsenal player ratings v Manchester United: Attacking midfielder goes missing

Football Insider rates the Arsenal players in their 1-1 draw against Manchester United in the Premier League match at Old Trafford.
Petr Cech 7 – Strong saves from Juan Mata and Anthony Martial in the first-half, was left helpless by his defence for Mata’s goal.
Carl Jenkinson 6 – Proved a steady replacement for the injured Hector Bellerin and dealt well with Martial.
Shkodran Mustafi 6 – Was kept busy by the United attack, still question marks over his pace.
Laurent Koscielny 6 – The most assured and composed member of the Arsenal defence, managed to keep Marcus Rashford quiet.
Nacho Monreal 5 – Could have conceded a penalty in the first-half for a clumsy challenge and the goal came about from his wing.
Francis Coquelin 6 – Was forced to defender for large parts of the game and demonstrated great resilience with well-timed tackles.
Mohamed Elneny 6 – Looked steady alongside Coquelin for the most part, but offered very little going forward.
Theo Walcott 5 – Threatened United with his pace on a couple of occasions, but fell way short of the high standards he has set this season.
Mesut Ozil 4 – The attacking midfielder went missing. Struggled to get on the ball and unusually showed no creativity.
Aaron Ramsey 4 – Failed to offer much attacking threat and struggled against United’s right-back Antonio Valencia
Alexis Sanchez 5 – His work-rate was a impressive for the Gunners although he offered nothing in front of goal.
