‘Man United make Altay Bayindir exit decision amid Andre Onana latest’
Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim is set to make key decisions in the goalkeeping department this summer.
Both Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir have proven that they are error-prone between the sticks, so recruiting a new shotstopper is vital for the Red Devils.
Amid their goalkeeping issues, the Old Trafford club finished 15th in the Premier League last term, with Amorim struggling to have a positive impact after taking over from former boss Erik ten Hag.
Amorim has looked to the transfer market to solve the North West side’s issues, while Manchester United have signed Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.

Manchester United set to part company with Bayindir
As Manchester United bolster their ranks this summer, the Reds are also looking to part company with some of their current assets.
While Mbeumo has joined from Brentford, fellow forward Marcus Rashford is set to depart Old Trafford in favour of a move to Barcelona.
After altering his forward line with the additions of both Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, Amorim is now set to turn his attention to the goalkeeper position.
Meanwhile, The Athletic revealed on Tuesday, 22 July, that if Man United sign a new keeper, it does not necessarily mean that Onana will leave.
But if the Red Devils sign a new shotstopper, they will be unable to keep both Onana and Bayindir happy at Old Trafford.
Therefore, Amorim’s side will look to part company with Bayindir, who should be keen to move on to pastures new, having largely served as the Cameroon international’s understudy.

Amorim must seal Emiliano Martinez swoop
While Manchester United could part company with Bayindir this summer, the Old Trafford faithful will hope that any new goalkeeper signed by their club this summer will also be an upgrade on Onana.

The fact that Man United failed to land a top-half spot last season, let alone show signs of restoring their former glories, shows just how much work Amorim has to do.
Therefore, signing a goalkeeper with top-class credentials is a vital piece of business that the North West giants must conduct ahead of next season.
Meanwhile, former Red Devils and Blackburn Rovers chief scout Mick Brown exclusively told Football Insider that Chelsea plan to hijack Manchester United’s move for Emiliano Martinez.
Amorim’s men must be eager to beat the recently crowned Club World Cup champions to the Aston Villa man, who epitomised his class by winning the 2022 World Cup title with Argentina.
Acquiring Martinez would go a long way to helping Manchester United compete in the right area of the Premier League table.
