Manchester United have made a final push to sign Leicester midfielder Louis Page before tonight's transfer deadline, sources have told Football Insider.

The Red Devils are set to offer in excess of what Leicester received from Manchester City for Jeremy Monga, including a free loan back and big sell-on clause for the League One club.

Monga left the King Power Stadium for a reported initial fee of £10m plus add-ons in July following their relegation to the third tier.

His former teammate is a top target for United after breaking into the Foxes' first team at 17-years-old last season.

Central midfielder Page has been closely linked to the Red Devils in the last few weeks and they are now looking to complete an eleventh-hour deal.

Russell Martin has utilised the teenager since the new season started and is keen to keep him at Leicester for the time being.

Man United keen to invest in potential amid Louis Page pursuit

Page has risen through the Foxes' youth ranks in the last few years to become a regular in their first team since their drop from the Premier League.

He made his senior debut for the club in August 2025 during a Carabao Cup clash against Huddersfield Town.

Page went on to feature 21 times across all competitions last season as the Foxes were relegated from the Championship, proving to be a shining light in a dismal campaign for the club.

He was named as the Championship Apprentice of the Year at the EFL Awards in April, and has continued to be trusted by new boss Martin with four appearances so far this season.
