Marc Cucurella and Malo Gusto react to Chelsea teammate’s message after his exit
Marc Cucurella and Malo Gusto have reacted to a Chelsea loanee’s message after he temporarily left the club in the January transfer window.
Chelsea allowed several players to leave during the January transfer window, reducing squad depth in the process.
Axel Disasi was heavily linked with Tottenham before eventually securing a loan move to Aston Villa, while Joao Felix has expressed his happiness at staying with AC Milan despite only joining a few weeks ago.
Renato Veiga was unhappy at Chelsea due to his limited game time and he also left Stamford Bridge in the winter window, on loan to Juventus.
Since arriving in Turin, he has settled in well and recently shared an update online, which was met with reactions from his former Chelsea teammates.

Juventus offering Renato Veiga more game time than Chelsea
The Portuguese defender reshared a post from Juventus’ official account on Instagram, which featured him alongside the caption: “No one shall pass.”
Chelsea players, including Cucurella, Gusto, Pedro Neto, and Nicolas Jackson, all responded by liking the post, showing their continued support for their former teammate.
Veiga only arrived at Stamford Bridge last summer from Swiss side Basel in a deal worth around £12 million. However, he struggled for opportunities under Enzo Maresca and has quickly adapted to life in Turin, making five appearances so far.
Interestingly, he has been deployed in central defence rather than at left-back, where he primarily played for the Blues.
Chelsea players often stay in touch with ex-teammates after they leave, as seen when Cucurella left a humorous comment on Veiga’s post following his departure.

Enzo Maresca putting faith in Marc Cucurella after Renato Veiga exit
Chelsea fans have urged the club to consider not selling Veiga, impressed by his early performances for Juventus.
His exit, along with Ben Chilwell’s loan move to Crystal Palace, has left the squad lacking depth at left-back. However, Maresca remains confident that Cucurella can handle the position for the remainder of the season.
The Spaniard has been a key player for Chelsea, making 21 Premier League starts and 28 appearances in all competitions. Compared to Veiga, who managed just seven appearances and one Premier League start before leaving, it’s understandable why he sought more game time elsewhere.
