Marc Guehi sends Crystal Palace message after Liverpool transfer reveal

Crystal Palace got back to winning ways on Saturday (22 February) at the first time of asking with a comfortable win against Fulham.

A Joachim Andersen own goal and a Daniel Munoz finish proved to be the difference makers at Craven Cottage as the Eagles secured another three points.

The result came against the run of play as Fulham dominated play with 63 percent of the possession as they made 543 passes throughout the 90 minutes.

It was a much-needed result for the Eagles as they bounced back from their defeat against Everton last weekend.

The victory moved Palace into 13th place in the Premier League table as they are now level on points with Tottenham.

Palace will now face Aston Villa on Tuesday (25 February) as they aim to put pressure on those in the top half of the table.

The defensive side of the game was important for Glasner’s team against Fulham as they picked up their eighth clean sheet of the season.

Crystal Palace are preparing for life without Marc Guehi

Guehi has been ever present in the Palace team this season, playing 31 games in all competitions for the Eagles throughout this campaign.

However, the club are preparing for life without the England international as transfer speculation continues to surround him.

Industry insider Mick Brown has revealed to Football Insider that Palace are putting in plans to sign a replacement for Guehi this summer as the expectation is he will leave Selhurst Park.

That comes after Football Insider revealed Liverpool have joined the race to sign the centre-back, with Tottenham, Arsenal, and Chelsea also keen.
