Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka respond to Chelsea star Cole Palmer’s message
Cole Palmer’s latest update away from Chelsea caught the attention of several Premier League stars this summer.
The 23-year-old stole the spotlight as Enzo Maresca‘s side lifted the Club World Cup in America, defeating all the odds to beat Luis Enrique’s PSG 3-0 in the final.
He netted a brace as new signing Joao Pedro added a third at the MetLife Stadium, and supporters are now excited for the 2025/26 campaign to get underway under Maresca’s leadership.
Financial expert Kieran Maguire has been very impressed by Chelsea following the arrivals of Jamie Gittens and Pedro, and their business is unlikely to stop there this summer.
The likes of Renato Veiga, Carney Chukwuemeka, Raheem Sterling, and Nicolas Jackson have all been tipped to follow Noni Madueke out the exit doors, but Palmer is unlikely to be going anywhere.

Cole Palmer enjoys time away from Stamford Bridge
Taking to Instagram (25 July), Palmer wrote: “Life goes on,” alongside images of his summer break after the Club World Cup, including an old photo of Tosin Adarabioyo.
Adarabioyo replied: “Romeo Lavia, this is your fault. I’m onto you,” with laughing emojis, with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, Ollie Watkins, Declan Rice, and Bukayo Saka liking the post.
Enzo Maresca begins to shine as Chelsea manager
Football Insider verdict
Maresca was under heavy pressure in the early days of his Chelsea career, but the Italian appears to have turned his fortunes around after delivering two pieces of silverware to West London.
While the Blues were expected to win the Europa Conference League last season, it was a completely different thing delivering the victory and making it all the way to the final.
He is clearly being backed by the boardroom, with plenty of business being done since the summer transfer window swung open, but now is the time to get rid of the deadweight.

Football Insider understands that Aston Villa are ready to reunite Unai Emery with Jackson, with Ollie Watkins being linked with a move away, and uncertainty also over Morgan Rogers’ future.
The likes of Joao Felix, Christopher Nkunku, Ben Chilwell, and Benoit Badiashille all need their futures sorted ahead of the new season, but there has been very little movement in the transfer window.
Until multiple exits are sealed, the manager will have extremely difficult preparations in pre-season, playing the likes of Bayern Leverkusen and AC Milan, before the 2025/26 campaign kicks off.
