‘Marcus Rashford backed for perfect Aston Villa return, trust gone at Man United’
Marcus Rashford returning to Aston Villa following his loan from Man United has been identified as the “perfect” option for him.
The attacker joined Unai Emery‘s side on loan late in the winter transfer window, with that move including an option to buy.
Rashford completed that move after falling out with Man United manager Ruben Amorim, which led to him being exiled from the squad at Old Trafford.
Having completed that move the England international has impressed in the Midlands, with some Aston Villa fans calling for the club to sign Rashford permanently.
Now, Darren Bent has suggested that another spell at Villa Park from the summer would suit the 27-year-old, with a return to Old Trafford viewed as an impossibility given what has gone before.

‘Ruben Amorim, Marcus Rashford relationship broken’ – Darren Bent
Rashford looks to have seen his spell at Aston Villa brought to a premature end by injury, which could rule him out for the rest of the season.
As a result, the attacker can now look ahead to the summer when he will have a big decision over his long-term future.
A number of clubs including Arsenal and Barcelona were linked with Rashford in January, and he is likely to have his suitors against in the summer.
Bent though, believes a return to Aston Villa would work for the 27-year-old, while also deeming that there is no way back for him at Man United under Amorim.

Speaking on talkSPORT about what club could be best for Rashford from next season, the former England international said: “For someone like Marcus Rashford, he’ll feel the energy and the love from Aston Villa fans because they appreciate what he done.
“I think there’s still more to come from him. So if they can make that deal work, if I’m Rashford I’m looking at going ‘right the fans like me, the players like me, Unai Emery trusts me’.
“That would not be the worst scenario to go back to because at least you know you’re kind of settled there.
“But if he goes back to United thinking, well I don’t quite know what he’s going to be thinking going back to United because I’m not quite sure Ruben Amorim will ever fully trust him again.
“I mean you get that job which is the biggest job of your career and the first thing one of your star players say is ‘I think I need a new challenge’.
“That will never repair itself. So if I’m Rashford I think he needs a clean slate, and if that’s going to Aston Villa I think it would be a perfect fit for him.”
Aston Villa will be tempted to bring back Marcus Rashford from Man United
Football Insider Verdict
Rashford has looked a much better player since completing his temporary move from Man United to Villa Park earlier in this calendar year.
Indeed, he has made some significant match-winning contributions for Aston Villa since his arrival in the Midlands.
Bringing him back would therefore be a boost for Emery’s side as they look to improve on another positive season by finally ending their wait for a trophy.
However, Rashford clearly has ambitions to play at the very top level, and so qualifying for the Champions League to give him that chance could be key to any hopes Villa have of convincing him to return.
It is also worth noting that if they do not get the financial boost of qualifying for Europe’s top competition, other clubs may be able to offer Man United a better deal for him.
With that in mind, what Aston Villa are able to do without Rashford in the final weeks of this season, could have a major impact on his future come the 2025/26 campaign.
